1. Definitions

- "You," "Your," "Client" refers to the individual or entity using our services
- "Services" refers to immigration advisory and application support services provided by Verdis Partners
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions along with any service contract or engagement letter
- "Website" refers to the Verdis Partners website and related digital properties
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our website or services.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Service Description
Verdis Partners provides professional immigration advisory services for Taiwan residence applications. Our services include:
- Initial consultation and pathway assessment
- Document preparation and verification
- Translation coordination
- Application submission and tracking
- Communication with immigration authorities
- Strategic guidance throughout the application process
The specific services provided depend on the service package selected and are detailed in your individual service agreement.
4. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information throughout the application process
- Respond promptly to requests for documentation or information
- Inform us immediately of any changes to your circumstances that may affect your application
- Obtain and provide all required original documents in a timely manner
- Review all application materials before submission and notify us of any errors or concerns
- Comply with all Taiwan immigration regulations and requirements
- Make timely payment for services as outlined in your service agreement
5. Fees and Payment Terms
5.1 Service Fees
Service fees are quoted in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$) and specified in your individual service agreement. All fees are exclusive of government application fees, translation costs, notarization fees, and other third-party expenses unless explicitly stated otherwise.
5.2 Payment Schedule
Payment schedules vary by service package. Generally:
- Seedling Assessment: Full payment due at time of consultation booking
- Cultivation Services: 50% due upon engagement, 50% due at application submission
- Full Garden Program: Payment schedule outlined in individual service agreement
5.3 Refund Policy
Fees paid for completed services are non-refundable. If you terminate services before completion, you may receive a partial refund for work not yet performed, less any costs already incurred. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes
While we provide professional immigration services and strive for successful outcomes, we cannot and do not guarantee approval of any residence application. Immigration decisions are made solely by Taiwan government authorities and are subject to their discretion and applicable regulations.
Our services consist of professional preparation, guidance, and submission support. The final decision on your application rests with immigration authorities, and various factors beyond our control may affect the outcome.
7. Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and documents. Information is shared only with:
- Taiwan immigration authorities as necessary for application processing
- Third-party service providers (translators, document authentication services) under confidentiality agreements
- Government agencies when required by law

8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Verdis Partners and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Written recommendations, strategic guidance, and application materials prepared for your case remain our intellectual property but are licensed to you for the purpose of your immigration application.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verdis Partners shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of income, profits, or business opportunities
- Delays in application processing by government authorities
- Changes in immigration policies or regulations
- Decisions made by immigration authorities
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific services in question.
10. Termination
10.1 Client Termination
You may terminate services at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination, you remain responsible for payment of services rendered and costs incurred up to the termination date.
10.2 Our Termination Rights
We reserve the right to terminate services if:
- You provide false or misleading information
- You fail to provide required documentation within reasonable timeframes
- Payment obligations are not met
- Continuing the relationship would violate professional ethics or legal requirements
11. Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Taiwan. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiation between the parties
- If negotiation fails, mediation conducted in Taipei City
- If mediation fails, binding arbitration in Taipei City under Taiwan arbitration rules
The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any legal proceedings shall be the courts of Taipei City, Taiwan.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. For active service engagements, we will notify clients of material changes via email.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these terms otherwise remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with your service agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Verdis Partners regarding our services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals.
